Spoolscape User Guide

1) Create your account

1. Open the main page and use the Register box.
2. Enter your name, country, email, and password.
3. Solve the human check and submit.
4. Once signed in, your inventory is tied to your account.

2) Scan and identify filament

1. Tap the scan area or click Start camera.
2. Point the camera at the spool barcode.
3. If scanned successfully, a result card appears with spool details.
4. Use Add to inventory to save it.

Tip: Good lighting and keeping the barcode steady improves scan speed.

3) Set remaining filament

After adding a spool, choose one of these:

• Full spool — marks the spool as full.
• Grams left — enter direct filament grams remaining.
• Total spool weight — enter measured spool weight in grams.

Each spool stores its own remaining value. The card total is the combined amount.

4) Manage multiple spools

• Matching spools are grouped under one filament entry.
• Open details to view each individual spool panel.
• Use per-spool controls to update remaining amount or delete one spool.

5) Troubleshooting

• If camera does not start, verify browser camera permission.
• If scans fail, try manual entry or move closer/farther from barcode.
• If data looks stale, refresh the page once and try again.
